MERSEYTRAVEL
- BUS STATIONS
After competitive tendering Executive Group were awarded
this contract in February 2001. The contract includes
cleaning 6 bus stations and 10 unmanned stations. The
dedicated contract management team is headed by Paul McKevitt,
Contract Manager and his assistant, Ralph Clegg, who run
a team of 16 supervisors and 30 operatives. Executive
are responsible for the 24 hour cleaning operation of
6 large staffed bus stations and 11 smaller satellite
stations. We provide a full cleaning service to Merseytravel
including general cleaning, washroom products, window
cleaning, specialist high level cleaning and jet washing
with fully equipped self-contained vehicles.
MERSEYTRAVEL - BUS STOPS AND SHELTERS
The Merseyside Passenger Transport Executive is responsible
for the management and maintenance and bus stations, bus
stops and bus shelters within the Merseyside area. At
present the MPTE controls over 6,000 bus stops, shelters
and stations with varying types of associated street furniture.
Customer focus and quality is considered by MPTE as of
paramount importance and after a competitive tendering
exercise, Executive secured this contract in February
2001. The contract includes cleaning over 1800 bus shelters
per week in the Merseyside area. The contract is headed
by a dedicated Contract Manager and along with an Assistant
Manager, they manage a 8 mobile teams. All vans are equipped
with mobile pressure washers and the teams are self sufficient. |
