SOMERSET
HOUSE, CENTRAL LONDON
One of London's premiere landmark buildings located on
the Strand adjacent to Waterloo Bridge. The building has
been completely refurbished to accommodate the Gilbert
Collection of decorative arts. Financed by the Heritage
fund, the elegant courtyards have also been refurbished
to include water features and provide an auditorium for
summer events. Executive were awarded the contract after
a rigorous selection process and managed the cleaning
through the very difficult occupation period. This included
the extremely time intensive special cleaning of all the
exhibits to clear the repetitive falling of builder's
dust. Full time day staff, a site management team and
a large part time cleaning operation support this contract
on a day to day basis and provide additional cover for
ad hoc seasonal events. With an annual value of approximately
£300k, it is all in all one of the Group's most
impressive contracts. |
