THE ECONOMIST
NEWSPAPER, CENTRAL LONDON
The Economist Newspaper is a leading media Group based
in Central London which owns a subsidiary called Ryder
Street Properties Limited who have the responsibility
of managing the Group's property portfolio and facility
services. We were awarded the contracts at five different
locations in late-1999 to provide general cleaning services
to different types of buildings that vary in age and styles.
A variety of activities is undertaken daily, including
press release areas, editorial areas, common parts, dining
areas, meeting and general office areas. Flexibility in
service is critical especially at the main building where
they go to press every Thursday and we are required to
have key areas completed by 6.00am. A computer based performance
monitoring system is used at this site which works as
a management tool by both supplier and client to ensure
that all desired standards are being achieved consistently. |
