The 1,000 bedded Royal Oldham
Hospital is one of the 7 NHS exemplar sites for
the environment. The hospital is at the heart of
acute healthcare provision in Oldham and the surrounding
areas, employing in excess of 3,500 staff.
The site is constantly developing and expanding
and today, it offers a comprehensive range of services
associated with a District General Hospital, including
advanced accident and emergency facilities, intensive
therapy beds, extensive radiology services, pharmacy
services, children’s surgery and eleven operating
theatres.
Executive’s contract covers all aspects of
the Trust’s cleaning requirements, including
the 17 health centres and clinics spread across
the borough. It is a true 24-hour operation, with
a separate dedicated night shift supporting the
work of the main day and evening shifts, which employ
175 staff. An experienced management and supervisory
team are responsible for ensuring that quality remains
our first priority.

The North Essex Mental Health
Partnership NHS Trust covers approximately 40 locations,
spread across a wide geographic area extending from
Harlow in the West to Harwich in the East.
Executive were awarded the contract in 2001 to provide
domestic services at each site, plus cook chill
catering at a 70-bed residential unit in Chelmsford
and at 3 other day hospitals. There is also a requirement
for portering duties.
We currently employ 70 staff across the contract.

Our contract is at Hamilton
House, which is the main headquarters accommodation
of Liverpool Health Authority, located at 24 Pall
Mall, in Liverpool City Centre. The building itself
is a busy 6-storey office block serving 320 staff,
plus upward of 200 visitors each day.
The specification calls for routine domestic services
on a daily basis, with the addition of window cleaning
and deep cleaning of carpets at regular intervals
throughout the year.
The total floor area to be cleaned is in excess
of 5,000 square metres. |
