Denton Wilde
Sapte
After the merger between Denton Hall and Wilde Sapte
to form Denton Wilde Sapte a strategic decision was
made within the Facilities Management Team to realign
the contractors utilised. Denton Hall had previously
utilised Lynx Security and Wilde Sapte had inherited
Securicor following the acquisition (by Securicor) of
Grays Security UK.
On this basis the combined contract was tendered in
the early part of 2002. After an extremely thorough
evaluation of the various companies invited to tender
we are delighted to confirm that Executive Secure Services
were awarded the contract for the five properties that
form the office space for Denton Wilde Sapte.
For Executive the award of this contract was more about
trying to look at a different way of operating the service
that was required. We were adamant that in our mind
this would not merely be a change of uniform for the
staff , or a different style of invoice for our customer.
This was about re-engineering a contract – making
the service one that was equal across every building
and creating a framework of support form outside and
ownership from within of the relevant areas within our
control.
Naturally there was some initial cynicism from the staff
previously employed by Lynx and Securicor. However,
we worked hard at every level to ensure that the attitude
within the newly combined team changed from day one
of contract commencement.
Indeed, three months after we started the contract a
serious flood could have created untold damage to a
number of archived documents. The whole team worked
tirelessly as a unit to ensure that any damage was limited.
Their efforts even received praise from the Managing
Partner.
This is a true reflection of how our staff can work
together given the correct framework and illustrates
fully their commitment to our customers. It also illustrates,
we believe, that Executive Secure Services can make
a significant positive difference to the way contracts
are operated.
